The location of the hotel is perfect for beach lovers, as it is very close to the beach and the promenade. Guests can easily walk to the beach and enjoy a day of swimming and sunbathing. the hotel offers a lovely garden space where guests can relax and enjoy the outdoors.
The hotel lacks a comfortable chair in the room, which would have been a nice addition for guests to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring and beach activities.

The location of the hotel is excellent, being close to the beach and within walking distance to the harbor and restaurants. The facilities are lovely, with a comfortable bed and a good shower in the room. The host, Jan, is very welcoming and ensures that guests have everything they need for a pleasant stay. There are also added bonuses such as a secluded garden space and complimentary breakfast items like bread, cereals, and even wine.

My stay at Lambourne House Bed & Breakfast was fantastic. Jan, the host, was incredibly friendly and even picked me up from the station. The room, although small, was comfortable and I had access to a large private garden. The garden was a wonderful feature, with plenty of seating areas and even a fire pit. The property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The shower had great water pressure and the bed was very comfortable. Jan was extremely helpful, making me feel welcome and ensuring I had everything I needed. Additionally, there was a nice outdoor seating area for guests to enjoy.

Basic but clean accommodations with good quality bedding and towels. Immaculate and utilitarian, could use comfier chairs. Host offered use of lounge and gave kind and genuine offers of assistance. Convenient 10/15 min walk to town center along the coast. Has private outdoor area, great in good weather.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem, Lambourne House in Whitstable, during a recent wedding trip and couldn't be happier! The room was spacious and comfy, complete with our own en suite and a cozy living/dining area. The lovely host, Jan, made us feel right at home, providing great recommendations for the area and making sure we had everything we needed. We were even tempted by the in-house cocktail menu for our next visit!
For breakfast selection, having a small side table or a comfortable chair would be a nice addition, so we could enjoy our books or gadgets while having a cup of tea or coffee.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decor of Lambourne House! The beautiful furniture and soft color scheme made me feel right at home. The general areas of the hotel were clean and well-maintained, making it easy for me to navigate as a senior woman. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like handrails in the hallways and clear signage, which made the hotel very accessible for us older folks.
I would have loved to see more seating options in the common areas. It would have been nice to have a comfortable chair or two where I could relax and read a book or chat with the other guests.
